2024
- 13th February 2024, NTS Amega Global successfully acquires Cobore Inc., a renowned leader in precision hole making processes and capabilities. By integrating Cobore Inc.’s advanced machinery and unique precision drilling techniques into its global operations, NTS Amega Global is set to offer more specialized and comprehensive machining services to its clients around the globe under the existing NTS Amega Global roofline.
- 11th June 2024, Enersol, a joint venture between ADX-listed companies ADNOC Drilling and Alpha Dhabi Holding, agrees to acquire a 51% stake in NTS Amega Global. The transfer will take place at the same valuation, subject to regulatory approvals.
2023
- 25th October 2023, Alpha Dhabi Holding (ADH) acquired a 51% stake in NTS Amega Global.
- NTS Amega Global celebrated the opening of the new Canada facility in Leduc, Alberta, Canada.
- NTS Amega Global in Houston doubled 5-axis Capacity by adding a DMG Mori 360 and Integrex 650.
2022
- All NTS facilities rebranded to ‘NTS Amega Global’ unifying the 11 repair, rental, and manufacturing facilities under a single brand.
- NTS Amega Global expanded its operations to South America, opening its Georgetown facility in February 2022. The Guyana location is API certified to Q1 , 7-1, and 9001.
2020
- Expanding its global footprint, NTS acquires Amega West Services, a market leader in the manufacture, repair and rental of high tolerance drilling and BHA tools with workshops in the US, Canada and Singapore.
- NTS Middle East moves to a new 10,000m2 workshop in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
2019
- Nobu Group is acquired by SENAAT, an Abu Dhabi government-owned company and Tubacex, a global leader in the manufacture of stainless steel and high-alloyed tubular products. Nobu Group rebranded as NTS Group.
2018
- The first containerized mobile workshop is mobilized and sent to customer site in Egypt.
2016
- NTS Saudi Co. Ltd. relocates to custom 4,500m2 workshop close to 2nd. Industrial City in Dammam.
- NTS Saudi makes first investment in 5-axis CNC machining centers to enhance capability on complex local manufacturing operations.
2015
- NTS Middle East and NTS Saudi are acquired by Nobu Group.
- NTS Middle East makes first investment in 5-axis CNC machining centers to enhance local capability in complex manufacturing operations.
2013
- Nobu Group is formed by Nord Kapital and Habu Holdings. Promet AS is acquired by Nobu Group and established as a center of excellence for the provision of high-integrity 5-axis machining.
2012
- NTS Saudi Ltd. Company is formed in Dammam, Saudi Arabia as part of the group’s In Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) strategy, aligned with the provision of comprehensive repair and manufacturing to local organisations and projects.

- Amega West is founded.

- NTS Middle East FZCO is formed in Jebel Ali Freezone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates to provide regional repair and manufacturing solutions.

- Northeast Technical Solutions (NTS) was founded in Portlethen, Scotland, United Kingdom, specializing in the provision of tubular repair services to Oilfield Service Companies.
